PREVENT CHILD ABUSE AMERICA
Across the nation, Kappa Delta Chapters host Shamrock events every year to support Prevent Child Abuse America. An organization founded by a Kappa Delta, Prevent Child Abuse America has been a partner with Kappa Delta since 1981. With the intention of promoting healthy development of children and preventing child abuse, PCAA assists nearly 100,000 families a year through their state chapter networks that work each day to promote certain strategies and activities to make a difference nationwide.

In previous years, the Xi Chapter of Kappa Delta has hosted a Powderpuff tournament to raise money for this organization. However, with the current state of the nation, we have created the first Kappa Delta Color Me Kaydee Virtual Shamrock Run & Walk at the University of Pittsburgh. We hope to extend our mission of promoting our cause beyond the borders of our University and community in Pittsburgh.
